Tuesday had us back at a bookstore, this time for a story and activity based on Dr. Seuss’s What Pet Should I Get. The story-time was a little dull for the girls, but the craft afterwards was right up their alley.
Elizabeth got one of these Plush Pals kits for Christmas and it’s adorable. It’s a great combination of useful, cute, and crafty. It takes just the right amount of time to do – not too quick that she sets world records for completion time, but not too long that she loses interest. I give it a solid recommendation for kids craft kits. Chapters handed out mini Plush Pals kits for all of the kids who attended, which was impressive because there was over 100 by my non-scientific calculation. But to the amount of wild kids in attendance, we took our crafts to go.
Tuesday ended with a visit and showering of presents from Gramma and dinner out at a local restaurant. Home to play and spend more time with Gramma, then bed for the animals. And silence for mama.
